The EBC GPFAX379HH is a sintered road-race brake pad measuring 71.5 x 50.5 x 8.0 mm, sold as a set of 2. It is made for race bikes running slick tires and high-performance brake calipers. The compound is designed for track days, racing and high-performance superbike applications.
Key Technology & Design
Race Compound — A full-race pad compound developed for track and competition use, derived from World Superbike and British Superbike competition.
Friction and Bite — Ultra-high friction levels with strong initial bite for braking response and lever feel.
Higher Grip — Provides higher levels of grip than the GPFA pad.
Heat Cycling — Pads can be raced, allowed to cool and reused without a loss in brake performance.
Wear — Wears longer and causes less rotor wear than earlier materials; good for four or five races of 20 to 25 laps, depending on the lap length.
Fade Resistance — Enhanced heat dissipation helps reduce brake fade during heavy use, with fingertip control.
