Returns
RETURN POLICY:

- All returns must be in new, unused condition with all packaging and tags included. If it has been “taken for a test ride” or installed on the bike it is no longer eligible to return unless it is defective, which would be a product warranty. The packaging must also be in as new condition – think exactly how you’d want the product and packaging to look if you were the one buying it.
- Please do not order multiples of the same or similar item with the intention of returning the several. Contact an instore sales rep if you are unsure of sizing or application for any items prior to placing your order and we will be happy to help you narrow it down! We reserve the right to charge a return or restocking fee, or refuse service if a return is excessive.
- Eligible returns or exchanges must be arranged within 30 calendar days from date received.
- When our team has received and inspected the item (typically within 24 hours after we receive it) your refund will be processed with a credit being applied to your original method of payment (Credit Card, Pay Pal etc.). Please be aware that it can take 24-48 hours for the credit to show on your credit card account, this depends on your credit card company.
- You are responsible for shipping costs associated with getting the returned item back to our store. (We offer prepaid shipping labels for $9.99)
- We reserve the right to apply a restocking fee when the item in question does not meet our return criteria. End of the day the item needs to come back in the same condition you would expect to receive it in as a new order.
RETURN SHIPPING OPTIONS:
- For customers in the contiguous 48 U.S. States we provide the option of using a prepaid FedEx shipping label which you can obtain by emailing returns@usedbikesdirect.com. This option costs $9.99, which will be deducted from your total refund amount once the return has been processed.
- For customers in any location, you have the option of using the carrier of your choice to return your order to us. We recommend shipping with a method which includes tracking and insurance for your return shipment.
- For customers near any of our physical locations (Dallas-Fort Worth or Houston, TX) you can simply bring the returned item in store and incur no shipping fees.
PRODUCT WARRANTY:
- Most brands / manufacturers offer a warranty period which covers against material and or workmanship defects. For more information on the warranty policy on a specific product please contact the manufacturer or contact us.
- Processing a warranty claim can take 4-8 weeks and will be subject to the policy of the brand / manufacturer of the item in question. Manufacturer warranties do not cover defects determined to be caused by normal wear or due to customer negligence.
- Most warranty concerns / claims will go through the brand / manufacturer for the item in question. In most cases the item will need to be sent back to the brand / manufacturer and not Used Bikes Direct. Shipping for product warranty is not covered by Used Bikes Direct if the item was delivered more than 30 days before the product warranty request.
DAMAGED PRODUCTS:
- Please let us know ASAP if any items on your order arrive damaged. Please keep all original shipping containers and take pictures if possible. Damaged item claims are handled through the shipping carrier (FedEx, USPS, OnTrac). We can assist our customers in these claims. We only ask that customers be patient as sometimes this process can take longer than any of us would like!

Returns and Refunds Via Mail for online and phone orders
Initiating your Exchange or Return:
- Email Returns@UsedBikesDirect.com
- Provide “Order #” and product name & quantity that needs to be returned and the reason for the return.
- Provide contact information.
- Our team will either reach out with a question or simply provide you via email with a return label to get the item shipped to us!
Please follow the below instructions for packing your return for shipment back to Used Bikes Direct:
- Secure all items in their original packaging before putting your items in the shipping box.
- You may use any size box that you choose, but please DO NOT USE THE MANUFACTURERS PACKAGING AS THE SHIPPING BOX!
- Tape the box closed and make sure all existing tape already on the box is either secure enough for the return trip or re-tape it.
- Follow the return instructions located in the returns@usedbikesdirect.com email that you have received from us.
- Ship the package back using the shipping method of your choice.
