The formula is shear stable with a high viscosity index, so it is built to hold its thickness as it heats up and as it is worked. Its additive system uses Maxima's Lubricinol, which cuts running friction and stiction, while also limiting foaming and air entrainment so damping stays consistent. It also keeps fork internals clean, prevents corrosion and conditions seals.
The viscosity of this grade is 47.1 cSt at 40°C and 8.5 cSt at 100°C. If your fork's service data calls for a particular viscosity or oil level, follow that.
