Alpinestars Supertech R Vented Boots – Bright Red/Red Fluo
Product Overview
This is the ventilated version of Alpinestars' Supertech R. It has a microfiber outer over a separate bio-mechanical inner bootie, the microfiber upper is laser-perforated and the front flex area has ventilation channels running through it. It is built for road and track riders, with protection for the track and airflow for summer sport riding.
The toe slider, shin slider and heel plate slider can all be replaced, and the toe slider screws in.
Key Technology & Design
Laser-perforated microfiber upper — The upper chassis is synthetic microfiber with laser-perforated zones. This adds airflow while keeping abrasion resistance and flexibility.
Ventilated front flex area — The redesigned front flex area has ventilation channels, so the part of the boot that folds as you work the controls also moves air.
Separate bio-mechanical inner bootie — A 3D-mesh inner boot with structural reinforcements, a soft TPU reinforcement over the toe and extra ankle padding.
Injected TPU shin plate — Redesigned by Alpinestars for impact absorption and abrasion resistance at the shin, with a replaceable shin slider.
Replaceable TPU and aluminum toe slider — Co-injected TPU and aluminum, screwed in place.
Replaceable heel plate slider — It improves sliding and protects the heel in a crash.
Microfiber medial panel with TPU shifter pad — The inside of the boot, where it touches the bike, has its own abrasion panel, with a TPU shifter zone over the lower part.
Rear stretch bellow and TPU over-injected top gaiter — A redesigned rear bellow for fore-and-aft movement, and a top gaiter with TPU over-injection that grips and closes around the leg.
Side zip, zipper keeper and ratchet — A TPU stretch panel with a medial side zip, a hook-and-loop keeper over the zip pull, and a micro-adjustable ratchet at the calf.
Rubber outsole — A lightweight rubber compound for lower weight and wear life.
