Stretch mesh chassis
- A soft, breathable stretch mesh body, with abrasion-resistant textile over the protector pockets.
Adjustable strap system
- Removable straps with height adjustment through a hook-and-loop panel on the lower back, to position the back protector.
Offset side zip
- The main zip runs off-centre down the side. Alpinestars fit a YKK locking zipper so it does not creep open while riding.

Product Overview
A short-sleeve body-armour jacket. Alpinestars engineered it for all forms of off-road riding, so it is the armour layer, not a road riding jacket, and it carries no garment rating of its own.
Three protectors are built in and all three are removable: chest, back and shoulders, each one Alpinestars’ Nucleon PLASMA and each CE certified to Level 1 under its own standard (listed in Specs). Being short-sleeved, it has no elbow protection. Alpinestars add extra PLASMA padding over the upper arms, collarbones and abdomen for coverage against roost — the debris thrown up by the bike ahead.
The body is a breathable stretch mesh, with tougher textile over the protector pockets. A removable strap system with a hook-and-loop panel at the lower back sets the height of the back protector.
