Product Overview
This is K&N's washable replacement air filter for the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R, part number KA-6009. K&N lists it for every ZX-6R from 2009 through 2026 — the 599cc ZX600 of 2009–2012 and the 636cc bike from 2013 on, including the ABS, KRT Edition and 30th Anniversary versions.
It is a panel filter that takes the place of the paper element in the stock airbox. K&N builds it with a sealing bead shaped for this airbox, and states that fuel-management changes are not typically required to run it. It is a street replacement filter, not K&N's race-spec design.
