Multi-layer EPS
- The impact-absorbing liner is built up in layers of differing density, and Scorpion routes ventilation channels through the foam itself rather than only through the shell.
Aero-tuned ventilation
- Intake and exhaust vents feed those EPS channels to move air across the head at speed.
KwikWick C liner
- The interior is Scorpion's KwikWick C fabric, which they state is softer and more breathable than the liner in the previous model. It is removable and washable.
KwikFit cheek pads
- The cheek pads are sculpted with a channel for eyeglass arms, so glasses can be worn without the frames being pushed into the temples.
Emergency release
- The cheek pads pull out with a tab so that emergency responders can remove the helmet without lifting it off in the normal way.
Pinlock-ready face shield
- The face shield has the pins for a Pinlock anti-fog insert. The insert itself is not included and is ordered separately.
Communication ready
- Recesses for comm-system speakers are molded into the liner.

Product Overview
The EXO-R330 is Scorpion’s value-priced full-face helmet and the replacement for the model that came before it in their range. Scorpion positions it as a budget-friendly helmet rather than a race one, and describes the shell as reshaped to cut drag and wind noise. It carries both DOT and ECE 22.06 certification, so it is legal for street use in the United States and meets the current European standard as well.
If you are shopping for a track or race helmet, this is not the one. Scorpion’s race line is the EXO-R1 Air, which the company says was developed and tested against MotoGP and World Superbike requirements, and it starts at roughly three times the price of the R330. The R330 is the street and commuting option in the range.
