FIVE RFX1 EVO Racing Gloves — White/Black XL
Product Overview
The RFX1 EVO is Five's race-focused replacement for the original RFX1. Five notes that the original RFX1 was used on-track by two-time Supersport World Champion Domi Aegerter in 2021 and 2022, and the EVO version was developed over two years with input from Five's World Championship Supersport and Endurance riders. The glove combines a cowhide leather and Stretch Kevlar® upper with a full-grain goat leather palm, and pairs multi-layer abrasion and impact protection (leather, Kevlar®, foam, and Superfabric®) with a redesigned wrist and forearm closure area. It's certified to CE KP2 (Level 2).
Key Technology & Design
Upper Construction
Topside combines cowhide leather with Stretch Kevlar®, with leather accordion-pleat reinforcement across the top of the hand and a Kevlar® stretch cuff panel.
Palm Construction & Grip
Palm is full-grain goat leather with a digital goat leather reinforcement patch for grip on the bars, plus Micro-Bemberg anti-blister padding in the palm.
Finger Protection
Index and middle fingers use TPU guards with air vents; the little finger carries foam and Superfabric® reinforcement under a leather patch. Fork liners between the fingers are perforated stretch nylon with external seams.
Knuckle & Hypothenar Protection
Knuckle area uses AirGO PROTECH® ventilated metacarpal protection under a honeycomb TPU shell. The hypothenar (palm slider) area has a multi-layer build of Kevlar®, 3mm foam, and Superfabric® under full-grain cowhide leather, topped with an ERGO PROTECH® honeycomb TPU slider shell.
Fall Protection
An anti-torsion accordion link, made from cowhide leather and Schoeller® Keprotec, sits between the ring and little fingers. Five designed this specifically to reduce tearing risk at that seam in a fall.
Wrist, Cuff & Forearm
Wrist closure uses a Velcro tab plus a seamless, heat-sealed cuff adjustment tab. Forearm protection is handled by Five's TPR Cuff Slider™.
